According to data from the Statistics Poland (pol. Główny Urząd Statystyczny, GUS), agricultural land covers over half of Poland's territory. The structure of land use depends on natural conditions, the level of economic development and population density, and does not change much. Most often, three basic forms of land use are distinguished: agricultural land, forests, other land and ecological wasteland. On the other hand, a permanent increase in prices of agricultural land has been observed in the last five years. 

The infographic presents mainly information on the prices of arable land at the end of the fourth quarter of 2021, broken down by voivodeships, and the percentage changes in land prices in 2021 compared to 2020. The information also includes data on changes in the sale / purchase price of arable land in the recent five years.
